A $75 deposit is required at the time of booking via Venmo or Zelle in order to confirm your appointment.

We carry Botox and Xeomin currently. 

Botox is used for clients with stronger muscles. Xeomin is for those with softer muscles looking for a very natural look. 

This depends on your muscle strength and the area being treated. If you have stronger muscles, you will need more units. To give an idea, the average amount for frown lines is 20 to 25 units, the forehead is 13 to 15, and crows feet are between 10-24.

There are many uses for Botox!

Botox can be used in the "bunny lines" made by scrunching your nose and next to each nostril for reduction of a gummy smile. It can also slim noses. Another use for Botox is the Lip Flip, which creates a slight plumping effect when injected at the border of both lips by releasing tension that can cause them to appear thin. The lip flip also softens smoker lines.  

 In the lower face, the DAO is the muscle responsible for pulling down the corners of your mouth and can give some people a "perma frown". Treatment in this area can have a significant rejuvenating effect.

It can also be used in the chin to reduce dimpling, in the jawline for reduced jowling and in the neck for wrinkle and plastysmal band reduction. 

Masseter botox for TMJ or slimming in the lower face is also a beneficial use of Botox.

We can discuss your concerns during your appointment and tailor your treatment to your specific needs.

It takes two weeks for a full result. Touch-ups can be done at this point.

Yes, I use a strong numbing cream prior to injection as well as a distracting vibrator tool under the chin for maximized comfort. 

Results are immediate with filler but full healing time is 2 weeks, at which point any changes can be made. Bruising and swelling is completely gone at the two-week mark as well.

Everybody's lips are different, but it is recommended to place one syringe of filler in your lips at a time. After two weeks you can place another syringe to continue building.

There is a low risk of complications. If filler gets into an artery, you may experience skin changes that need to be recognized and treated by your provider immediately. 

When administered by a trained medical provider who understands your anatomy and the risk of arterial occlusion, the risks of lip filler are very low. 

Yes, the reversal agent is called Hylenex and it is always carried on hand in case of an emergency.

We use Juvederm Volbella for under eyes using a needle for a more accurate placement, which ultimately reduces superficial placement or Tyndall effect.

I also like to take the time to inform clients that the nose is a higher-risk area for injection.

While the odds of something going wrong are low in the hands of an experienced practitioner, it is important to be educated on potential risks before choosing to proceed, and it is policy for clients to sign a consent form for this procedure. 

Microneedling stimulates collagen production by triggering the skin's healing response. It can improve tone and texture, acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, and enlarged pores. The whole process takes 45 minutes.

No, we always numb you prior to the procedure. It feels like small pinpoint sticks as the pen glides over your skin. 

You will have a sunburn appearance and feel on your skin for three days after getting treated. You can use Aquaphor to relieve the discomfort and moisturize your skin after the procedure.

After three days, you will be completely healed from microneedling and seeing new skin appearing with improvement to its overall tone and texture.

A series of treatments is often needed to see noticeable improvements. 

Microneedling is frequently used in conjunction with other treatments to work toward your skincare goals. For example, acne can be treated with a chemical peel and once active acne is gone, microneedling can be used for scarring.

Peels can address fine lines, wrinkles, acne, scarring, tone, texture and hyperpigmentation.

Peeling takes place over seven days, with the most occuring on days three and four.

You will be provided with a peel pack to take home with you. Make sure to avoid the sun and wear SPF. You can use the hydrocortisone cream and SPF provided in the peel pack that you take home with you. Do not pull the peeling skin; allow it to peel on its own and trim with scissors if necessary. 

You may need more than one depending on your skin concerns. Sometimes peels are used in conjunction with other treatments to achieve desired results.

There are two types of threads - smoothing and lifting.

Smoothing threads can be used to stimulate collagen in areas that need it such as the undereye, smile lines, around acne scars and in frown lines that have settled already.

Lifting threads are used to lift skin that is mild to moderately saggy.

They can be put into the cheek to lift smile lines and in the jawline to remove jowling. They can also be used in the eyebrows for a fox eye or general eyebrow lift. The neck also benefits from lifting threads as we age.

After the lifting threads are put in, they dissolve on their own after about six months. The effects typically last for one year except for the fox eye treatment, which lasts anywhere from 5 to 8 months.

Both types of threads stimulate collagen production in the long term.

Overall, it is a comfortable experience.

You will be thoroughly numbed with both topical numbing and lidocaine before lifting threads are done. You may feel pressure as the cannula is inserted under your skin that deposits the thread. 

Sometimes the skin will dimple or pucker where the thread is inserted. This is usually avoided by inserting the thread in the right place. Bruising is rare but possible. Mild pain may be experienced that can be alleviated with tylenol.

Generic Kybella (or PCDC) is a compound of two fat burning chemicals that permanently dissolve fat cells where they are injected. It is commonly used to remove a double chin. 

We use ice and numbing cream on the area before injection, with most clients reporting mild discomfort at most. 

The injection area will become swollen, and it is best to have Benadryl, Tylenol, ice and a bandana for compression ready for the first three days after injections. 

After three days, swelling and tenderness are minimal.

PCDC requires one full month to see final results.

Good news! PCDC is twice as strong as Kybella and can therefore remove more fat in one session.

Some clients require 2-3 sessions depending on the amount of fat in the area injected.
